June 13, 2019 - The paper with the title "Classification-by-Components: Probabilistic
Modeling of Reasoning over a Set of Components" written by S. Saralajew, L. Holdijk, M. Rees, E. Asan and Prof. T. Villmann is accepted at the top Confence on Neural Information Processing Systems.
Best Paper Award at WSOM+
June 28 - 30, 2017 - We visit the conference International Workshop on Self-Organizing Maps and Learning Vector Quantization, Clustering and Data Visualization in Barcelona, Spain. Here we present five papers on robustness againt Adversial Attacks and investigations of activations functions in prototype vector quantiziers, searching for the Origin of life using machine learning, and fuzzy clustering.

Talks at Mittelerde Meeting and Silicon Saxony Day 2019
We participated the Mittelwerde Meeting (https://webapp.biotec.tu-dresden.de/event/3/overview) in Dresden on 13.-14.06 and gave a talk about: "Detecting RNA life signatures using machine learning"
Furthermore, we attend the Silicon Saxony Day ( www.silicon-saxony-day.de) on 18.06. and present "AI based interpretable robust classifiers – a white box neural network approach"
